We work hard to obtain meaningful, integrated employment for people with disabilities in the state of Pennsylvania, but often, after a consumer secures a job position, they struggle to find consistent transportation to their worksite.
At the New Castle event, the Experience the Employment Connection participants discussed creative solutions to this problem.

- Uber: this peer-to-peer business allows people with disabilities to request approved drivers to take them to their desired locations. This interview features a driver in Philadelphia who has been leased an accessible Dodge Caravan to use to provide transportation for people with disabilities. Uber offers financial incentives for drivers who pick up passengers with disabilities, encouraging their services to be more inclusive.
