Last year, we launched Experience the Employment Connection: Possibilities in Action. This year, we have put together a program that is bigger, better and even more engaging. Don’t miss this productive, helpful and collaborative Experience. Participants will learn how to work collaboratively, with numerous agencies, to obtain meaningful, integrative employment for the individuals they serve.
YES, you CAN ATTEND even if you aren’t part of a pre-developed team!

As we continue to plan for this year’s Experience the Employment Connection (EEC), stop back for additional information, registration guidance, new resources and event details including locations and dates.
Driven by the Governor’s Executive Order on Employment First, the ultimate goal of Experience the Employment Connection: Possibilities in Action is to increase competitive, integrated employment for Pennsylvanians with disabilities through a statewide, interagency staff training approach.
Content will be based on the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), Pennsylvania’s Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Settings CMS Final Rule Statewide Transition Plan, Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities in Education Act (IDEA), the State Plan for Medical Assistance Programs outlining mental health service provision, and agency-specific policies.
